Titolo 8. Newsletter Irontrail - course presentation 5/5

Dear Irontrailers,

When the snowdrops and crocuses are in bloom, when the birds are migrating back soon, then spring has set its flowery framing and you’re getting ready for some outdoor training.

In order for you to be as well-prepared as possible for the premiere of the Irontrail, you can train on the original course for four days with "Trailschnittchen" Julia Böttger, get to know the trails, experience the differences in altitude and delight in the unique landscape of Graubünden. You will find details of the training camp here.

It's now more than a month since we revealed the first section of the course to you. We are finishing our virtual journey today with the starting section of the T71:

Km 0 - 2

  • Starting section through the middle of this attractive old town – Switzerland’s oldest in fact

Chur - The Alpine City

The Alpine City. Surrounded by mountain magic.

Do you prefer enchanting mountain scenery or the hustle and bustle of city life? The Alpine City of Chur offers you both. Narrow, winding streets and snow-capped mountains, modern shopping centres and pure, unadulterated nature. For Chur is quite simply the Alpine City. Abounding in urban zest for life, yet set amidst an enchanting Alpine world. From the Alpine City, it is quite easy to scale the surrounding mountains. Simply sit back and enjoy.
